German born, Iris Ornig is a gifted instrumentalist, a talented composer and a charismatic performer.
Her approach to jazz is straight forward combining inventive wistful melodies. Her music is powdery soft and loaded with fresh energy and cat-like exuberance. She has plenty of twists and surprises and mixes modern Jazz, Latin and Jazzy Pop.
